Sorry if this is a lame or vague question. But how did you get it to look like that? It looks like a comic book painting. Did you uses photoshop at all?

I think the light added works well. It gives it more of the comic book feel and makes the otherwise dimly lit hijacker become more important. The version without the light looks more like a movie screen cap.
It contrasts the driver well, as he's so much bigger on the picture it doesn't take away much focus from him. You do loose the guy in the back though.
I'd say the light is slightly to strong for an impact, but about right if it's supposed to look like an in camera effect.
