Ok, so I processed this differently than my regular plan, but it may not be possible to reproduce at will because it is a little strange, but I'll try to give you an idea so you can try it. It's lit well to begin with, but when I convert from raw I make it very low contrast. Then in ps I use a levels adjustment layer and slam the gamma (middle slider) to the right, and then drag the highlights (right slider) in just a little. This makes the contrast insane. This will be way too much processing and you have to kind of paint it out of places where it is ruining things. I also dodge and burn the bottom layer for additional control.

The eyes have thier own curves adjustment layer probably, in addition to some dodging. I process alot of files and I dont remember specifically.
